Protect the right to freedom of expression in Australia ,  subject only to the transgression of  boundaries that legitimately usurp that right

Promote informed and rational discourse as to what constitutes those boundaries, how and where are they to be placed

Identify and represent these boundaries, balancing  the role for mutual civility, acceptance and consent  with a tolerance for  prejudice ,ignorance and profanity , in exercising the right to freedom of expression

Align the protocols appropriate for the right of freedom of expression with complementary rights – freedom of assembly, worship, media, rule of law and civil liberties

Advocate academic, educational and community initiatives that advance  the right to exercise freedom of expression

Commission research and publish position papers that articulate the right to freedom of expression in areas of current public policy prescription and direction.

Front up and defend the right of freedom of expression via  iinteraction with social media, communication channels and public policy fora, where the right is subject to  challenge,  when exercised within prescribed boundaries

Engage with authoritative stakeholders charged with governance, compliance and oversight of freedom of expression in Australia to champion its exercise

Sponsor a legislative, legal and administrative framework that is consistent with exercising the right of freedom of expression.

Reintroduce fun, satire and parody into the lexicon of social discourse and opinion
